Students will learn basic vocabulary to enable them to start conversing in American Sign Language. We will work on receptive and expressive language development. 1:1 and 2:1 student sessions will be more choice-based. This will enable students to choose their focus with options of:

• Vocabulary themes

• Learning songs in sign language 

• Deaf Culture

• Learning to sign stories through using children's books and games 

• Focus on conversational dialogue 

There are also options to record the vocabulary learned each week, so students can practice on their own time, to develop their content knowledge of signs.
