Adena Yonit, Alli Fisher
Educator, Creator, Founder
Hi There! Many of my students know me as Miss Alli, I also go by my Hebrew name Adena Yonit. I am deeply passionate about facilitating creative arts amongst all ages. Meeting one-on-one with students or in group settings, I encourage students to listening inward and explore materials that they are interested in. Through using art mediums one can freely express what is on their heart. Making is truly a magical platform for personal self expression, taking leaps of courage in exploration, letting go and enjoying the beautiful process and development of creation!
Choice-Based Art Education also known as TAB (Teaching for Artistic Behavior) is a methodology where students are encouraged to choose their own way of self-expression through artistic mediums. As the arts educator, I am there as a guide to help you navigate material usage, teach and expose you to a plethora of art mediums and techniques. In addition, encouraging you to think deeply about what and why you want to create your envisioned piece of artwork. My students called this time of self led art making as 'Open Art', a time where art was open to create their visions and turn them into their personal masterpieces.
